Planned by: Keren Shemesh, Emily Nitzberg, Michelle Rubinstein, and Kelly Szteinbaum
6:30 PM-6:45 PM:People arrive.
6:45 PM-7:00 PM:Mixer. Go around saying: name, grade, school, and who you wish you could be. Then play “Human Guess Who?” Split into 2 teams. Each team chooses a person (secretly), then they spread out and other team asks a physical question (ex. Is she blonde?) If the answer is yes, everyone without blonde hair sits, if the answer is no, then everyone with blonde hair sits. Then you go back and forth until you have figured out who the person is. Play three rounds approximately.
7:00 PM-7:15 PM:Human Clue! Each person gets a piece of paper with all the possible people, places, and weapons for this game. Before the game starts we have to write down everyone’s cell phone #’s and make them put it on a loud setting so we can reach them in case of an emergency and tell them when to start and go. Everyone will partner up and we will give each couple X amount of card, each card will reveal either a place, person, or weapon. They can then check that information off the list of all possible things. Before the game starts we will randomly pull out one person, place, and weapon to be the person who’s murdered place where, and with what weapon. The couples will be constantly moving from around Keren’s house, to the park and play structure. Every time they bump into another couple, they have to show them one of their cards and the other couple has to show them one of theirs. Then they will move on. You cannot share information with the same couple consecutively. If you bump into the same people later in the game you have to show them a different card. No talking to people in other groups, only showing cards. You can only talk (quietly) to your partner. Once you’ve figured out who it is, where it was, and what weapon was used, or if you have a guess, you come back to the event planners and tell them your guess. If you guess wrong you are out of the game. The first three groups who guess correctly receive a prize.
8:15 PM- 8:30 PM:Spy game. We will bring everyone to the pool gate at the complex, then we will leave and text them when the game has began. We will tell them they must spread out they don’t want to see anyone besides their partner (different partner then clue) and they must SNKEAKILY go from the pool to the tower of the play structure without being seen by one of the event planners who will be randomly spread out walking around trying to spot people. When the first couple reaches the tower they have to text one of us and tell us and stay there until we verify that they made it there. If they get caught once, they get to keep playing; once they’re caught twice they are officially out of the game.
Play Mafia if there’s any extra time left-over.
8:30 PM-10:30 PM: Spirit prep for Frat/Sisterhood Convention 2010 and snacks!
